Cooper first encountered the world in a place he should never have had to be: an abandoned garden in a village, where he was found with his sister, Cleo. When they arrived at the shelter, they were both very frightened and wary of people they did not yet know.
Today, Cooper is a much happier and friendlier dog. He is still a little shy and needs time to build trust, but his progress is clear every day. With kindness and patience, Cooper can discover that people can also mean safety, affection and a place to call home.
