What does volunteering mean?
Volunteering at our shelter gives you the chance to make a real difference for animals who need care, attention and an opportunity to join a loving family.
As a volunteer, you can help with:
- cleaning pens and enclosures;
- providing food and water for dogs;
- painting pallets, kennels and enclosures;
- small repairs and other work needed at the shelter;
- socialising dogs and cats, improving their chances of finding a family;
- walking dogs on a lead outside the shelter.
Activities at the shelter take place every Saturday according to a planned schedule.
Get involved beyond the shelter
Volunteering does not stop at the shelter gates. You can also contribute to our community activities:
- take part in adoption and awareness campaigns;
- support administrative activities;
- join fundraising events;
- help us promote responsible adoption and care for animals.
Whatever time or experience you can offer, there is always a way to help. Sometimes even a few hours spent with an animal can make an enormous difference.
